    Bangkok Cheap luxury

      Five days ago we arrived to Bangkok, and as the trains to Chiang Mai are fully booked, we may even be here for some more days… Oct. 17th we went to superlative temple Wat Po, the biggest temple in Bangkok, with the biggest lying Buddha (15 m heigth, 45 m in length), the biggest collection of Buddha statues and the earliest center of publiv education in Thailand.         Sunshine, mild climate, a space for our tent right next to the lake, white and grey cranes fly by, plus WLAN reasonably nearby at the most beautiful Starbucks cafe in the whole wide world. Yesterday we had the whole campground for ourselves, now, at the weekend it is going to be quite crowded, as many Taiwanese will be spending their weekend here.         Merry Christmas

          Merry Christmas 2006-12-25 at 3.50 pm A quick note for christmas time. As most of you already know we are in Taiwan. We arrived about a month ago and are living with the famiy owning the dojo, in a little town about an hour south of Taipei. Here we are studying Tai Chi and other forms of chinese martial art. This is how a regular day of ours currently looks like: Getting up between 5 and 7am (our own choice), practice, breakfast, train until lunch at noon, rest until 1:30 pm, train until 3 or 4 pm, then little break …
